Charlotte Youngquist is a Senior Manager in Strategic Sourcing at NuStar Energy L.P. Though new to the Girl Scout movement, she has been involved in community service initiatives in San Antonio since moving here with her family seven years ago. Her passion has been in helping the homeless by working with Haven for Hope in a procurement capacity, as well as chairing food drives for the San Antonio Food Bank, working on housing for Habitat for Humanity and assisting with many other needs-based initiatives. Charlotte is a member of the Institute for Supply Management, and is a certified purchasing manager. Her background has been in construction procurement for many years, including that of restaurants, retail and convenience stores. An entrepreneur at heart, Charlotte holds two patents for products that she invented for the restaurant industry. She is also active in the San Antonio Clean Technology Forum, a knowledge-sharing organization concerned with promoting sustainability for the city of San Antonio and developing green jobs initiatives. She is married to Russell Youngquist, a chef with PF Chang’s, and has four children, all grown with the exception of a senior, Ryan, studying electrical engineering at Southern Methodist University. She has served as a member-at-large for one term (2010-2012) for GSSWT.
