Advocacy for Girls

Be the Voice For Girls

Girl Scouts has a long-standing commitment to the well-being of girls and serves more than 26,500 girls and adult volunteers throughout Southwest Texas. For nearly 100 years, Girl Scouts has been engaged in girl's lives and a resource and expert on their growth and development.

Supporters of Girl Scouts are encouraged to visit Girl Scouts 4 Girls and be the voice for girls by joining the Girl Scouts Advocacy Network. The network provides a tool for you to make a difference in your community and across the nation. Together, we can educate policymakers and community leaders on issues that directly affect girls and Girl Scouts. By being an advocate, you will have an impact on girl policy issues moving through Congress and the state legislatures.

An investment in Girl Scouts is broader than a cause or a cure. It's a commitment to a generation.

More than half of America's girls hope to have an effect on the world beyond the communities where they live. That's where you come in. Our donors and volunteers are changing the world by supporting the young women who will change it. As someone who understands that our future depencs on our investment in youth, we are counting on your help.
