Leah DeLaGarza

Leah serves as the VP of Integration and Operations at Interlex Communications, a full-service advertising agency that specializes in cause-related and advocacy marketing. She has 17 years experience in the general market and multicultural marketing arena. In her current role, Leah oversees $40 million in annual billings for a unique set of advocacy, government and non-profit organizations. She has created and implemented media plans for clients including San Antonio Metro Health, Texas Department of State Health Services and Texas Commission on Environmental Quality. Non-profit campaigns under her leadership include San Antonio’s Find Your Balance fitness and nutrition campaign and the American Cancer Society’s “Mi Familia No Fuma” anti-tobacco effort. Leah has led media efforts for high profile national brands such as Walmart, Microsoft, Nissan and Domino’s Pizza. Her interests outside of work have included a coaching role for Pop Warner cheerleaders and a seat on the Mayor’s Steering Committee for Teen Pregnancy Prevention. Leah is a Girl Scout alumna and served as the Volunteer Champion for the 100th Anniversary Brand Subcommittee, member-at-large and on the Board Development Committee for GSSWT.
