Rachel has been a Girl Scout for 10 years, and in that time has earned the Presidential Service Award multiple times and Girl Scout Bronze and Silver awards. She has worked at Girl Scout camp as a Program Aide the last few summers. Since being a Girl Scout Junior, she has helped distribute Resource Rebates at all service unit meetings.  Aside from Girl Scouts, Rachel seeks opportunities to help her leadership experience. She served as the Vice President of the Greenhand Chapter Conducting Team where she learned to apply proper parliamentary procedures to conduct mock meetings; her team made it to state and received the honor of being the first freshman team from Smithson Valley to advance to state competition. She is in the Smithson Valley Ranger Marching Band where she hopes to rise up in the leadership ranks to Brass Captain for Drum Major. Rachel would like to pursue a career as a veterinarian and is raising 34 egg-producing chickens, selling eggs to friends and neighbors.
