PNeeleyPeggy Neeley, Excellence of Teamwork

Peggy demonstrates what it is to be a committed team player by helping anyone and everyone that has a question or concern. She might not always have an answer, but she does her best to go out of her way to get one. Not only does Peggy always offer a helping hand, but she does her best to motivate every department throughout the organization with positive incentives and morale boosters. Her willingness to help has been an inspiration to others within the organization.



 

 

 

SSSStephanie Sanchez Sinclair, Excellence of Leadership

Stephanie has used her critical thinking skills to improve the grants application process in a creative way with remarkable results since her first day as a full-time staff more than a year ago. Her initiative to gain knowledge about the operations of the council and to develop a strong working relationship with her co-workers has allowed her to develop a new process to apply for and manage multiple grants. Stephanie remains flexible and thinks creatively to consistently research grant opportunities that align with the council’s current plan of work. Her innovative ideas are contributing to a new work process across departments that will enhance services to all girls.

 

 

 


MValdezMaggie Valdez, Excellence of Customer Service

Maggie has welcomed many Girl Scouts, volunteers, visitors and staff into our leadership center with her complimentary smile and amazing customer service. She makes sure to go the extra mile and treats every person who walks into the shop as if they were the most important person she has come across that day. Anything you need assistance with Maggie takes care with a positive attitude. She certainly lives by the Girl Scout Law, and makes our world a better place.

CCunninghamCourtney Cunningham, Excellence of Creativity and Innovation
Has creativity that has gone beyond the boundaries of one department. She has helped create many tools that have been helpful for Troop Leaders, Recruitment Specialist, GO Team Leads, and our beautiful Mobile Leadership Center. Courtney created and interactive Welcome Session that is used by the Mobile Leadership Center as well as requested by volunteers. She has also helped make Troop Essentials available through home studies for volunteers. She is also a great team mate and always makes herself available to any department that calls a “code green”. Courtney continues to seek new and exciting ways to better the council’s way to support volunteers and staff with her creative thinking.

 




APenaAmanda Pena, Excellence of Flexibility
Demonstrates what en exceptional staff member is by always helping other departments. She beats deadlines on her own projects and then always offers support to anyone on her team in order to help keep their deadlines. She efficiently stayed on top of entering all the registrations for Cookie Rally which helped keep and accurate count for those attending. She is flexible and accommodating and lends her knowledge to the rest of the team to ensure that the department runs at its best. Amanda has transitioned into her new position as membership registrar and quickly and has already made great improvements for that role.

Morgan Weber, Excellence of Teamwork

Morgan is a wonderful team member. She is dependable and flexible when working on projects and assignments. She always has positive feedback when given ideas. Morgan takes the initiative and offers to help make them come to life. When needed Morgan has covered in-school program for other team members with enthusiasm all while still following through will all of her assignments.
