Jeannie is the Vice President for Administration, Finance and Chief Financial Officer at the Texas Biomedical Research Institute in San Antonio. Her responsibilities include all accounting functions, treasury, payroll, finance IT, purchasing, human resources, and environmental health and safety. Prior to joining Texas Biomed late in 2006, she worked in non-profit healthcare finance for 24 years, primarily for urban teaching facilities. Jeannie has served as the Treasurer (2011-2013) and on the Finance Committee, Audit Committee, ByLaws Task Group, Fund Development and Investment committees for GSSWT. She is active in the San Antonio AFS high school foreign exchange student program. For 10 years, Jeannie served as a community member on the Correctional Managed Health Care Committee, the entity that oversees all health care in the Texas prison system, a gubernatorial appointment. In November 2009, Jeannie also received the Health Care Nonprofit 2009 CFO Award from the San Antonio Business Journal. Jeannie earned a BS in Mathematical Sciences and a MS in Engineering Economics, both from Stanford University.
