Ramon Flores is Vice President, Project Development & Management for Port San Antonio. As a member of the Executive Leadership Team, Flores supports the overall growth of Port San Antonio. Specifically, he is responsible for the planning and development of mixed-use, residential and adaptive reuse projects within the Kelly Center, Lindbergh Park, and Chennault Circle segments of the Port San Antonio Master Plan.
Prior to this position, Flores served for six years as Executive Director of the Westside Development Corporation (WDC), which was created by the San Antonio City Council to focus on economic development and the revitalization of a 15-square mile area west of downtown San Antonio. The priorities of the WDC were job creation, real estate development, business expansion and attraction, promotion ofthe area, and policy change.
Prior to this position, Flores was President of Flores Holdings, LLC, a real estate investment and consulting company. Flores Holdings, LLC, in partnership with private investors, acquired and redeveloped commercial properties within inner-city areas of San Antonio. Prior to starting his own company, Flores worked for Fannie Mae for nine years, in both Dallas and San Antonio.
Flores is active in local civic activities, including as a Board Member of Family Service Association, Member of the Development Council of San Antonio CAN! High School, Member of the Board Development and Property Committees for Girl Scouts of Southwest Texas, Member of the Urban and Regional Planning Advisory Council for UTSA's School of Architecture, Member of United Way's Strengthening Families Issues Council, Advisory Board Member of the Westside Education and Training Center, a Mentor in the Young Achiever's Program of the Boys & Girls Club, and a Board Member of the Harvard Club of San Antonio.
Flores received his Bachelor's Degree from Harvard College and Masters of Business Administration from Southern Methodist University.
