Seniors (grades 9-10) & Ambassadors (grades 11-12)

Girl Scouts helps girls discover their talents and strengths, connect with others, and take action in their communities. Trained, caring adult volunteers provide opportunities for girls to practice decision-making skills, develop healthy and positive self-esteem, and pursue interests in a supportive nurturing all-girl environment. Girls and adults plan together, as partners, to decide what activities they will do.

Girl Scout Seniors (grades 9-10) and Girl Scout Ambassadors (grades 11-12) earn badges, hike and camp, participate in the cookie program, and much more. A teen Girl Scout gets to practice the leadership skills she's acquired in a real-life environment by taking advantage of unique opportunities at the local, national and global level. They have tons of fun and make new friends that will last a lifetime! Adults serve in an advisory role and ensure that girls abide by the health and safety guidelines written in the Safety Activity Checkpoints

A teen Girl Scout's leadership journey begins with her choice of Girl Scouting's three journey series: It's Your World - Change It!, It's Your Planet - Love It! and It's Your Story - Tell It!

On this journey, Girl Scout Seniors get down to the roots of their food network to see how complex and how global food and land issues can be. They'll meet scientists, farmers, artists, and others who have plenty of knowledge to serve up. This journey will also have girls asking tough questions about their own "food print" as they develop "leader print" and speak up about what they believe in.
