Thinking Day/WAGGGS

Established in 1926, World Thinking Day, observed on February 22 of each year, celebrates Girl Scouting’s global sisterhood. This is a day when all Girl Scouts think of their sister Girl Scouts and Girl Guides all over the world and remember that they are part of an international movement.

The Resource Center has many great Thinking Day ideas, activities, and resources. A list of Thinking Day links and activity sheets follows. Let your girls help decide what they would like to do. As you celebrate World Thinking Day remember there are girls around the world celebrating with you. Happy Thinking Day!

Celebrate the Day!

  • Have a style show displaying styles from a WAGGGS member country
  • Learn games or songs from another country
