Trish heads the DeBerry Group after 15 years as partner of Guerra, Deberry and Coody, a marketing and communications firm. Trish leads aggressive campaigns that bring people together and create measurable change. Her experience in politics, land development, retail, television, communications and public relations helps her identify the needs of the client and the community, and blend them in a way that works best for everyone. Trish’s hands-on approach crafted a number of public affairs wins: a public relations movement to fluoridate San Antonio’s water supply; a campaign for a much-needed sales tax for the city’s transportation system; a quality-of-life initiative to build youth athletic fields and a performing arts center, extend the River Walk and upgrade the AT&T Center; and a two-part bond vote that approved $675 million in education improvements. Trish has led a 10-year relationship with H-E-B, providing crisis management, community relations and public involvement guidance. She has overseen public relations for environmentally friendly development projects by Forestar Real Estate Group. She serves on numerous boards that support education, transportation and quality-of-life initiatives for San Antonio. Trish served as the Honorary C.E.O. (Cookie Entrepreneur Officer) for the 2011 Girl Scout Cookie Program and as the honorary chair for the inaugural GSSWT Green Urban Adventure in March 2011. Trish served one term as GSSWT member-at-large from 2010-2012. She has two children, Maddie and Scott.
