All new troop leaders should complete the online learning session Girl Scouting 101.
Next, you must attend one of the Troop Leadership Essentials sessions. This session will give you the information needed to organize and manage a Girl Scout troop for the troop pathway.
To enhance your understanding of your girls and to gain some age-specific information, you may want to attend one of the Grade-level Essentials sessions (Girl Scout Daisy, Brownie, Junior, Cadette/Senior/Ambassador). These sessions are optional, but highly recommended.
