Location: Sally Cheever Girl Scout Leadership Center-Backyard (811 N. Coker Loop)
Outdoor experiences allow girls to discover their strengths and
skills, connect with their environment and take-action to make the
world a better place. Each troop needs one adult who is Troop Camp
Leadership (TCL) certified to take girls camping. Men and women 18 and
over are eligible but must have a current Girl Scout membership and
cleared background check on file with Girl Scouts of Southwest Texas.
This 2-part blended learning course includes an online portion in
gsLearn and an in-person skills session (overnight campout) at Sally
Cheever Girl Scout Leadership Center.
Please note: You will need
to provide your own tent for the in-person training.
NOTE:
This is an overnight program to complete an in-person skills check. Food will be provided-let us know if you have any special dietary needs.
