Adult volunteers and girls in grades 6-12: Earn your Adult and
Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED Certification. This course meets GSSWT
requirements for a Level 1 First Aider and Troop First Aid/CPR Manager
for adult volunteers. Every troop must have at least one adult
volunteer with this certification.
This is a two-part
blended learning course, with a three-hour online portion and a

Requirements
Course participants are required to provide
verification of completing the three-hour online course, which must be
taken prior to attending the in-person skills session and requires a
PC or tablet with a high-speed Internet connection. Per American Red
Cross guidelines, we must turn you away if verification is not
presented prior to starting the in-person session. No exceptions will
be made.
Please note: Part of the in-person skill check requires enough strength to give proper chest compressions to a mannequin. Participants should demonstrate maturity in class and may be asked to leave if they are disruptive. Participation does not guarantee certification, which will only be issued after successfully demonstrating skill proficiency.
