Understanding the difference between "community service"
and "Take Action" projects is key to creating impactful
experiences for girls. Community vs. Take Action is a training that
helps leaders guide girls in identifying the types of projects that
can make a lasting difference.
This session will define
what makes a project "Take Action" versus a traditional
service project and how to empower girls to create sustainable,
long-term solutions to community challenges. You'll learn how to
support girls in planning and implementing Take Action projects that
align with their interests, skills, and the Girl Scout Leadership Experience.
