Jackie L. Gorman, Chair
Jackie is the Executive Director for SAGE (San Antonio for Growth on the Eastside), a nonprofit that serves as the growth engine for San Antonio’s Eastside. Prior to joining SAGE, she was the owner of Ivy Consulting and a senior partner with Allen Austin Global Executive Search, where she was the non-profit, government and higher education practice leader. Jackie received her Master of Business Administration from the University of Texas at Austin and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Michigan. She was inducted into the San Antonio Women’s Hall of Fame in 2002 and was a member of the Leadership Texas Class of 2003. She has served on numerous boards and commissions including the Greater San Antonio Chamber of Commerce, Alpha Tau Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority and the Alamo City Black Chamber of Commerce. Jackie has served on the board of GSSWT for 11 years and has held the positions of Member-at-Large (2002-2008), 1st Vice Chair of Development (2008-2009), Chair Elect (2009-2011) and Board Chair (2011-2012). She served as chair for the 100th Anniversary Steering Committee and chair of the African-American Advisory Committee. Jackie is a member of the Executive Committee and represented Girl Scouts of Southwest Texas as a delegate for the 2008 National Council Session in Indianapolis as well as the 2011 National Council Session in Houston.
