Council patches

Girl Scouts of Southwest Texas Council Patch programs are unique to the Southwest Texas council and are written thinking on our future leaders: our girls. These patch programs provide the opportunity to explore topics beyond those in the handbooks and other GSUSA resources.

Copies of the patch requirements are available below and in the Resource Center at the Sally Cheever Leadership Center, and the patches can be purchased in the center’s Girl Scout Shop.

If you are in a different Girl Scout council and would like to purchase one of these patches, please email our Customer Care Department at customercare@girlscouts-swtx.org.

Patch Partner Programs toggle arrow

Girl Scouts of Southwest Texas partners with San Antonio’s leading organizations to offer one-of-a-kind patches designed to give girls the skills they need to thrive in a rapidly changing world. Each patch’s curriculum is aligned with the Texas Education Knowledge and Skills (TEKS) standards for public schools, taking education beyond the classroom in each patch partner’s area of expertise or social responsibility.

Boeing, the City of San Antonio, CPS Energy, H-E-B, USAA, Valero Energy, and Wellpoint have taken the lead in supporting Girl Scouts through these programs.

Troops and girls can earn these patches on their own, and they can also earn them on a rotating basis at Second Saturdays at the Sally Cheever Girl Scout Leadership Center. Check our calendar of events to find the latest program.

You can find the full program information and curriculums for each program on our Partners page.
