Join Community J for a Gold Award Training!
Girls, do
you have a passion for making the world a better place? Take action
with issues that you care about and become an agent of change. The
Girl Scout Gold Award is the highest and most prestigious award a Girl
Scout Senior or Ambassador may earn. During this program, girls will
learn all about the Gold Award process from the start of a proposal to
submitting the final project! Girls will brainstorm project ideas,
practice budgeting, and learn how to build a team.
Girl
Program fee includes a Gold Award Idea Notebook and a printed copy of
the Go Gold Guide. Adult fee also includes a printed Go Gold
Guide.
This training is required for Girl Scouts planning
to earn their Gold Award. Projects should not be started until after
the training, completion of the required prerequisites, and Council
approval of the project.
