Celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month with Girl Scouts of Southwest Texas at La Merienda 2026: Entre Mariposas y Cuentos!
Join us for a joyful afternoon of storytelling, culture, creativity, and community. Enjoy a special reading of The Runaway Conchita by local author and librarian Veronica Martinez, explore hands-on activities inspired by Hispanic cultures, enjoy traditional treats, and take part in activities connected to the Girl Scout Hispanic Heritage Month Patch.
Each registered participant will receive an event patch, with treats and activities included. Copies of The Runaway Conchita will also be available for purchase.
Girl Scouts, families, friends, and community members are all welcome. Come celebrate the stories, traditions, and connections that bring our community together!
