National Convention Council Trip | Girl Scouts Southwest Texas

2026 Girl Scouts National Convention Council Trip

Wednesday, July 22 - Sunday, July 26

About the Trip:

We’re headed to the 2026 Girl Scout Convention in Washington, D.C., to celebrate the spirit, individuality, and self-confidence that makes Girl Scouts shine. Join us!

This special six-day gathering only happens once every three years and will take place at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center. We’ll attend Girl Scouts Unite, a multi-day event featuring interactive workshops, inspiring speakers, and once-in-a-lifetime adventures that spark forever friendships. (This event takes place after the 58th National Council Session from July 20-22.)

At the Girl Scouts Unite event, you’ll:

Hear from inspiring speakers, like Space Gal Emily Calandrelli
Meet Girl Scout book authors Sayantani DasGupta and Yamile Saied Méndez
Experience interactive workshops and live performances
Meet girls who are taking action in their communities
Learn about trailblazers and barrier-breakers from past generations
Venture around the city for events and exhibits commemorating the 250th anniversary of the U.S.

We have two travel options for you for Girl Scouts Unite; pick the one that’s best for you and/or your Girl Scout!
