Location: Boerne Lake

Join us as we sail Sunfish sailboats around the lake. As a beginner (Novice) or Mate (after one year of GSSWT Sailing Camp) you will learn techniques used by sailors around the world. With the help of your fellow Girl Scouts, you will rig, de-rig, and learn how to use the wind to sail. You will gain skills to sail a Sunfish around the lake. You will participate in art projects, campfires, and sing our favorite songs. And of course, playing in the lake is always on the schedule.

Prerequisites: Must be able to swim 24 yards and support self fully clothed in deep water for 3 minutes. Must weigh 75 lbs. or more, be prepared to live and work in a group setting with peers and have enough physical stability to load and unload small boats in groups.

Notes: Registration confirmation will contain packing list, drop-off instructions, and other important information for the session.
