Location: Camp La Jita
This Camp Program Aide (PA) training prepares Girl Scouts to serve as PAs at Camp La Jita or Camp Metro. Together, we'll strengthen leadership skills and practice working with younger Girl Scouts. Girls will fulfil all three council camp PA requirements and leave ready for summer. Training is designed for girls who have not attended a Camp Program Aide training. We do not recommend this session for girls who have previously served as a PA at Camp Metro or Camp La Jita.
Steps girls will complete at Spring Break Camp:
1. Earn
the Program Aide Award
2. Council-sponsored Camp Program Aide
Training
3. Work with younger girls for a total of 8 hours
All meals and the Program Aide Award Pin are included in the
fee. Girls will be staying in the Champuli cabins.
