This hands-on. in-person skills session that is required for USA Archery Level 1 and 2 Certification is just $10 to attend. It provides the training necessary to run archery programs and manage a range with confidence. Participants will cover shooting techniques, equipment repair, and lesson planning. This certification is an excellent way to enhance a resume or gain the skills needed to lead archery activities.
Certifications are provided through USA Archery in a two-part format. Please note that while the in-person session is $10, participants must pay USA Archery directly for required online courses, memberships, and background checks, which must be completed first before registering for and attending the in-person skills session (approximately 4.5-8 hours depending on certification). Once both parts are passed, the official certification is valid for three years.
Step-by-Step Registration
Option 1: Level 1 Instructor Certification
* Minimum Age: 15 years old
* Step 1: Create an account at USA Archery.
* Step 2: Pay $40 for the USA Archery online course and complete.
* Step 3: Register for the in-person skills session by clicking the Register Now button.
Option 2: Level 2 Instructor Certification
* Minimum Age: 17 years old. No prior Level 1 certification is required.
* Step 1: Create a USA Archery account and purchase an Adult All-Access Membership ($70), plus the required SafeSport Training and Background Screening ($35).
* Step 2: Pay $50 for the USA Archery Level 2 online course and complete.
* Step 3: Register for the in-person skills session by clicking the Register Now button.
